I for one can't wait to see how a multi-decade Senator from Delaware who was also Vice President during an extremely business-friendly eight years is going to really stick it to those corporations in the name of the little guy! Who's with me?!
ok yes, but the messy bitch who lives for drama in me, this ought to make the debate more entertaining. if senile joe can get a couple good lines in about this news item it'll be fun to watch trump squirm
Those with money have access to those who make the laws-go back to President Hayes waay back. “This is a government of the people, by the people and for the people no longer,” former president Rutherford B. Hayes wrote in his diary in 1886. “It is a government by the corporations, of the corporations and for the corporations.” We the general public are the fools. Get us with some emotional issue and behind closed doors -decisions are being made for the government to pay for everything a corporation wants. We are the idiots. And don’t forget, IRS does not have the bandwidth to address the taxes of the wealthy (too much work) less than 400K-on it!
As far as Richard Neal goes I am curious to see if any change occurs in his public politicking and/or legislative activity just on the basis of having some form of comparison as to the effectiveness of primary challenges to Democratic leadership like himself. This is assuming of course that Alex Morse did pose a challenge in the previous race and that he'll run the same challenge again in the upcoming.
And Congressman Neal could've released these tax returns years ago if he so chose. He did not.
In case anyone needed a visual representation of how this works: https://twitter.com/nxthompson/status/1310591077003464714?s=20
Excellent article. Speaking of grifting the public for profit, how about that sweet lease he has on public land in West Palm?
