See, I thought Caitlin was making the best blogs, and now Jack Crosbie (and Jack Crosbie's moustache) are making awesome blogs as well. I can't decide who is making the best blogs!
All the more reason I am happy to give you monies to keep making blogs. More good blogs please!
the space baboon was dope and so was the moon rover fight but everything else around that was insanely bad and boring. if the whole movie was brad pitt fighting space baboons on a moon rover it would have whipped ass. you can quote me on that hollywood
This is good and fair, but also TO BE FAIR: I still dislike vice even tho some good journalists and bloggers etc work there. While you nail the reasons I and others still grimace at the thought of the site, the reason I mostly hate it these days is due to the damn ads/site design. It really feels like visiting a local newspaper or tv station site that just bombards you with ads. I get they need to pay the bills and those good bloggers, but fuck - I don't want to be on that site. It sucks. I'd much rather subscribe and pay for Discourse, Defector, The Athletic etc that have clean ad-free designs. It doesn't mean I don't read those shitty sites, it just means I don't visit them except to read an article by someone good (or on an interesting topic) that I saw linked elsewhere (twitter).
i have written so many garbage blog posts (many of them at sb nation, some of them at other places i hope have dead URLs), all of them for Small Monies. this struck a chord for me because it's wild to see a relatively young person be such a dick to someone they work with!! like!! what are you doing!! i guess i shouldn't be surprised but we've all been in the mines at some point (or maybe we haven't, i don't know) so damn have some empathy for the blog people in your life.

All good points, but I refuse to accept the movie where Brad Pitt fights space pirates and baboons is boring
It was a boring movie that was also a bad movie
Was it slow? Yes. Was it navel gazey and pretentious? Yeah. But I gotta give it at least a B for space baboons.

Ah, I thought BradPittGuy (and thus Yeung) was saying Vice was his favorite for both the serious and silly stuff it produces.
I’m now two months off Twitter so maybe I’m a little rusty.
This is a good blog about good blogs, ha ha. :o)
