Bullshit, its not either or, thats a big part of problem! Where are the DNC ads right now? We are squandering a huge window of opp....all we see are ads to re elect Corey...get it together folks! Too much on the line to loose
I'm on the side of people legitimately fighting to overcome systematic racism. I'm not on the side of people using this as an opportunity to make it about themselves on instagram. I'm on the side of policy that works to hold police systems accountable. I'm not on the side of white people using this as an opportunity to be opportunistic. I'm on the side of trying to further understand this complex issue that stems from a history that is largely untaught in school. I'm not on the side of young white blogger telling me to remove complexities from the conversation and fall in line behind his naive world view. I'm on the side of equality and that comes from listening more than you preach.
So if you're with the people do you even bother voting? Hope that boycotting the vote will change something (it won't)? Hope that voting third party will change something (it won't)? Or accept something marginally better than what we have now?
he's rightly pointing out that these are democratic cities with Democratic Mayors and Democratic City council's and yet they are still unable to stop scraping the absolute fucking worst lowest level.
this feels especially apt today in light of what's gone down in Milwaukee this week

Voting for what exactly?
what does it even mean to say something is 'marginally better' than unbridled police violence?
I am siding with the paramedics.
shut your ass up boy
