Excellent rundown. Thanks. There is a tremendous amount of “if” coming off these could be/may be victories but I’ll take it. A “small ray of light” is still a ray of light.
The Freedom Caucus became a thing because they built up enough support to have a tangible effect on the direction of the GOP House (and then went totally batshit, but that's another story). The Squad growing and growing signals the same could be said for the Left, until somewhere in a secret bunker Nancy Pelosi and John Boehner toast a couple of bourbons and pine for the days gone by.
If we're headed back to the days of open brawling on the Senate floor, and there is plenty of reason to guess that we are, Fetterman is gonna be an *asset.*
I don’t disagree with you necessarily but I am hedging my bets with some tentative optimism if in fact the US system and Democratic Party survives another couple decades
I was wondering how the Democratic party was going to continue to fundraise after spending the last 17 months betraying all of its nominal base.
Apparently, this is the answer. They'll bring in a handful of left of center types & get people to ignore what they Dems are currently actually doing with the presidency & both chambers of Congress (ex. Not doing defending abortion after fundraising off of it for decades) in favor of some theoretically possible future. Pretty much what they've been doing with "The Squad"
The ray of light you see is the last flickering of a dying candle. Even after fascism is full control democrats will never self reflect and say hey maybe we should’ve supported those leftists that got people excited instead of doing more to stamp them out than republicans …
Also in Oregon, Jo Ann Hardesty beat two giant chode challengers from the right. She was forced into a runoff, but there's room to be cautiously optimistic.

Charlie Brown is lining up to kick the football. Surely, Lucy won't pull it away again.
Apologies, I can't view any wins by Democrats as good news given what they've done (or more importantly haven't done) these last 2 years

Gotta be honest with you, I don't trust anyone taller than about 6'5". They all seem like they're up to something.
