I am still looking for this Liberal Media conservatives keep complaining about. I keep looking and all I see is the same right-wing insanity being whitewashed by every major media outlet in this country.

Okay but, like, ofc they did this. I’d say I’m surprised but I’m not. Doesn’t detract from the farcical nature of these awards given Columbia’s recent acts of violence against their students and journalists and doesn’t change the horrid slap in the face to the dead Palestinian journos this represents, but c’mon did we really expect anything coming out of Columbia to be anything but pathetic? This is the entity that gave Peggy noonan a Pulitzer for her coverage of the 2016 election ffs.

The NYT cares more about the feelings of its Zionist shareholders and advertisers than it does about condemning a genocide, that's for sure. Unseemly! I hope there is an afterlife where they are all subjected to the terrified sobs of Hind Rajab for eternity. Then again, I'm sure many of them would get off on it.

Lots of hypocracy going around in the chambers of congress and institutes of higher education. Our kids are the adults in the room.

Two points real quick:

Of course the special citation would be to media workers in general. Granted many were killed (by...you know...stuff) while reporting from inside Gaza (and at least one in Lebanon) but Israeli journos were also...okay, point taken.

Second point: Gore Vidal said (in terms of the Nobel Peace Prize presented to Kissinger for leveling Cambodia. And Laos. And East Timor. And other things...): "Never underestimate the sense of humor of the Norwegians."

What? Are you also referring to Bob Dylan getting a Nobel? i'm still stumped by that one.

Nah, Dylan only has a body count of a couple hundred. Maybe. But Hank? According to the Huffington Post (take that as you will), his count is between 3 and 4 million. Dylan better get busy if he wants to beat that.
