It is in fact extremely popular, at least as shown by the number of commenters and the fact that it still exists despite hiding nothing behind a paywall.

Do people really think Kamala has a worse chance, in any way thatтАЩs statistically significant, to beat Trump versus Biden? She polls better than Biden in most swing states, and the Dems have raised $30m today since Joe dropped out. Pretty clear peopleтАФwhatever they thought about BidenтАФwerenтАЩt enthused about a weekend at BernieтАЩs campaign/presidency.

I think they (rightly) (well, mostly rightly) think that Biden was a very good President. For Americans. But to me it seems more based on past accomplishments than future prospects. I don't think a large part of that contingent can hold both that Biden has been mostly a good President (yes I know I KNOW) and that he's clearly past his Sell-By date. Those are not mutually exclusive concepts.

I have been afraid to say anything because I know people are going to be upset.

I don't understand at all.

My guess is some people are afraid (this epoch is scary, and the world is scary) so they imagine things that make them feel safer.

I am going to wait for them to calm down.
