I swear they let Alito write the opinion just to spike the football.
And what an opinion! He references things that weren’t in the founding thoughts of the country or something. Like he’s inside the brain of James Madison or something. You could even say he made his ruling based on the Birth of a Nation.
And if I hear one more “vote” person I’m going to puke in my suit. We tried to vote, and they tilted the tables to mitigate that vote. Then they told us to vote for the person that benefitted from that tilted table and got mad when some people didn’t. They keep putting the biggest cowards on the planet up for election and then blaming us when we call bullshit.
Including/especially the people bitching about 2016. People voted in 2016, the guy with fewer votes won! That just vote party then won 18 months ago and has done fuck all with that victory (yes, I know everyone on here already knows this. But, it is ranting time)
This further reinforces a maxim that I’ve developed, which is that are two groups that cause the horrors that we see and experience: the perpetrators and the enablers. May they all burn in the tenth circle in hell that only they deserve to be in.
As someone pointed out this morning, four of the five justices supporting Roe's repeal were appointed by Presidents who lost the popular vote (thank you Electoral College): Bush II (Alito) and T (Gorsuch, Kavenaugh, and Barrett). Not that it matters.
We should all call Susan Collins' Senate voicemail and play that 2 minute clip from JD Durkin's tweet as the message. Like, everyone should. She should be indignant that people would dare take her at her word right up until she retires rather than gets throttled in her next election.
I'd put my money on gay marriage. You're already seeing laws like the one in Florida designed to criminalize queerness, relitigating Ogberfell seems like the next logical step once they've finally killed Roe and need a new culture war target for the base.
"the party of lincoln and eisenhower"? go to hell, chuck and nancy

Well, yes, but on the other hand, have you considered simply voting *harder* ?

Good (bad) blog, Jack.

It's our fault really, we just haven't voted HARD enough, clearly. (all the sarcasm, fuck these ghouls on both sides).
The one entity you missed: America. This country was a mistake.
read to the end :)
Gdi fuck me. Disregard I’m an idiot.
hardly!!!!!!! we've all been there—i've been there sometimes for things i'm supposed to be editing!!!
The Dems are too afraid to use power when they have it. What a bunch of cowards.
Which right will be next?

I agree.
I agree with every word. Thank you.
