That Pelosi part made me want to jump into a black hole.

The lack of preparation for Biden to handle Trump's interruptions was pathetic. Didn't he have the same guy who did debate prep for Hillary, Philippe Reines, doing his prep? How woefully unprepared they were for what was clearly to be expected. His debate prep should have been with Al Franken, or a yakked out Mark Cuban.

I'm being kind of tongue-in-cheek with the comparison, kind of not.

Ah, quit pulling your punches.

The non voter numbers are always so fucking staggering to me. When 40% or 92 million people roughly don’t vote, it shows that the tsk tsk liberals have no idea what they’re doing and never will.

If only 10% of those went to the Dems they’d be in power for so long that they’d make the PRI look like amateurs!

All I can hope is that the Green Party has some progress in this election and the People’s Party is ready to go ASAP

Insightful remarks, but let's try to find some solutions instead of moaning. Bernie is doing some interesting stuff. So is THE LEAP.

She's a politics blogger, not a US Senator. Did you ever read Splinter? Describing a well-written summary of the shitshow of a debate and the subsequent discourse as "moaning" is fucking ridiculous.

The fuck are you talking about? What's Bernie done besides endorse a rapist and eat the same shit buffet he did in 2016, only to be blamed for Biden's loss the same way he was for Clinton's.

Bernie's done. When push came to shove he was too wedded to the decorum fetish to make a stink and get his work buddies angry at him.

Yep. RIP old man, you were too nice for this evil country, just like Corbyn over on the pedoph isles. Out to pasture with you, thanks for your hard work.

Sadly, he's probably also too nice to take solace in the fact that this hideous country is going down the tubes into collapse after rejecting what was probably the only path to stability. Sucks to live in it, but the death of the American empire is probably a necessary prerequisite to humanity's continued existence at this point

Yea. He was a good start, but we're gonna need some Doomers to fix this shit. Gen X is already to old, anyone in the pipeline is some rat Mayor.

Millenials... we shot our shot with 9/11 and the Iraq war. Put up some good numbers but turns out a couple million peaceful protestors don't mean shit. Seems like if we burned down a few recruitment offices and a Fox affiliate or two, we'd at least have gotten the attention the kids today have, if nothing else.

Not a failed state, but we’re definitely trending toward something like Brazil. The integrity of the federal democracy is on life support, but it more or less works locally (at least where I live). My measure of failure is when local police and bureaucrats start expecting bribes on the regular.

Shantytown/enclave states like Brazil and Haiti and Kenya and so on, with massive populations in unpowered, unwatered shacks with walled and guarded wealthy enclaves elsewhere are absolutely failed states. We're joining them
