A Great Way to Tell Elon Musk to Go to Hell

Elon. Musk.
The name alone is enough to make you wretch, and then start thinking up insults. Elon Musk is a petty tyrant, a billionaire baby, a vindictive snake, a right-wing rat, a symbol of everything rotten and repugnant about our political and economic system. His personal repulsiveness is matched only by his total idiocy. He sucks, is what we’re saying.
Why are we going on about this piece of refuse? Well, because he’s decided to screw with us.
As you may have seen, Elon Musk is currently at war with Substack—throttling links to some Substack sites and even suppressing tweets about said throttling of links. (The boring reason for this is that he is mad that Substack started its own Twitter-like thing. Full disclosure: we tried the new Substack thing. It felt more like a pretty regular social media thing than an Elon Musk assassination vehicle but that was just the vibe we got.) Our links still work for now, but that could change at any minute. You never know with this guy.
Elon Musk-era Twitter is not fun, but it’s still a major driver of traffic and subscriptions for sites like ours. If that’s cut off, we’d likely take a big financial hit.
It’s enough to make you want to get your revenge on this goon, right????
Well, luckily, we have the perfect solution. Becoming a paid Discourse Blog subscriber is an excellent way to tell Elon Musk to go to hell.
