Welcome back, friendos. Isn’t it great to be together again? After the smashing success of last week’s office hours, we figured that it was so nice, we’d try it twice.

Discourse Blog strives to be a place where “independent-minded young writers should know that intellectual curiosity—let alone risk-taking” will never “be a liability.” You don’t have to live “in fear of the digital thunderdome.” You need not “nod along as the coin of our realm—language—is degraded in service to an ever-shifting laundry list of right causes.”

What I’m saying is: office hours is where we can all get weird and have some fun. So in that spirit, let’s kick things off this week with a prompt of sorts:

Rumor has it Bari Weiss and Andrew Sullivan are combining forces like a cursed Voltron for some as-of-yet unspecified project. What do you suppose it’ll be, and what’ll it be named?

Have at it, ya mutants.

Update, 5:36 p.m.: Well, that’s a wrap for us, folks. Feel free to keep talking amongst yourselves, and thanks for another great chat!
